BARDEN LANIER, PLS

 Barden started the business over 30 years ago and works daily to provide direct management and supervision. Other than surveying countless  property boundaries, Barden has designed many of the areas  subdivisions and commercial site plans, He has also been one of the  area's leaders in surveying technology. In the late 70’s he purchased  the area's first CAD system, plotter and electronic distance  measurer, in the 80’s the first electronic data collectors and Auto  Cadd and in the 90’s the first survey grade Global Positioning  System. Barden has always been straightforward and understands the client’s needs.

While attending The Boston University I received two awards for being on the Dean’s List two years in a row. I also received the distinction of membership to Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Organization. I started working at Lanier Surveying Company in 2005. I worked directly under Brent Lanier PLS, GISP- under his tutelage I learned research, cadastral, topographic, GIS, control surveys, mapping, subdivision layout, wetlands mapping, construction layout, hydrographic surveys, FEMA Flood Certifications, munitions clearing surveys (with emphases on CH2M 3R’s), processing lidar and photogrammetry. Areas of expertise include ArcMap mapping, Arc Catalog, File Geodatabase, Geodatabase Administration, Projections and Transformations, ArcMap editing and advanced editing, Pyton, Java Script, ArcMap Spatial Analyst, ArcMap Network Analyst, Carlson software, Auto Cad Civil 3D, Civil 3D with emphases on ESRI database networking. Windows 95, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 8, Windows Vista, Windows 10.
